Peacock Wall Mural

Margaret was commissioned to create a Peacock Wall Panel for a private residence in Mackay, Queensland. Inspired by a photograph she took of a peacock during a visit to Montsalvat, the artwork features a stylised design that captures the elegance and quiet pride of the bird. Hand-cut from corten steel, the piece was carefully developed over time, with particular attention given to the flow and shape of the tail. Now installed in its new home, the panel adds a striking focal point to the garden, reflecting Margaret’s deep appreciation for natural forms and their place in domestic landscapes.
